Tryptophan

An essential amino acid used to build proteins. It can’t be synthesised in the human body, so foods containing tryptophan need to be included as part of a healthy diet. Chocolate, oats, milk, cheese and eggs, along with some nuts and seeds are especially good sources of tryptophan.
