Our mission is to inspire a positive paradigm shift in the way we create, bake, and eat bread to bake bread that nourishes by providing a systems change structure. Our aim is to instigate, support and inspire through our systems change programme from two directions, top down, and bottom up, by supporting both the bread making industry to produce better bread and supporting the healthcare professionals to manage and reverse chronic lifestyle diseases in their patients, through bread as a lifestyle prescription and preventative medicine.
How?
Through a combination of Education and working with industry. Using a combination of original research, and nutritional medical & lifestyle evidence we have developed a compressive approach to bread, and this protocol called Diversity Bread underpins our approach of how to bake to nourish the gut microbiome and to bake bread that has a positive health impact on physical & mental health. Our courses support bakers to actively implement meaningful, structured systems change to the way they bake bread and & healthcare professionals are empowered to socially prescribe the protocol as lifestyle bread making courses to patients.
The paradigm shift of bread is further supported by providing consultancy services for industrial product development of the Diversity bread that nourishes.
