This course is for Sourdough Club members who have been with us for longer than a year, or previous or existing Sourdough School students, who are already baking great bread. Students will be with Vanessa while she is living her normal life, as she runs the Sourdough School and Club, when she is creating cakes and bakes, producing photography, and filming. This will be a photoshoot and filming week. It will very much suit someone who is wanting to produce their own content for their own small business/blog/website. This experience will help attendees to use and understand all of the creative processes of communicating when running a business that is based around bread. How we create media, Instagram posts, filming, software, how we edit the photographs, be part of the team. It is hard work behind the scenes.

In many way it is undefined but it will follow Vanessa’s schedule, and you will:

Be involved in every aspect of what is happening at The School that week
Refresh our sourdough starter
Help build up our sourdough starter
Gather Botanical Blend ingredients
Have lunch with the Team
Assist with the photoshoot and filming
Help Vanessa to create, photograph and record
Be involved with food styling
Learn to use our editing software
Create media and content for social media and the Sourdough Club
Understand applying the Bread Protocol to the recipes being created that week
Do your own baking, perhaps choose a recipe from one of Vanessa’s books
Be in the photoshoot, this can be hands only if you prefer
Go shopping with Vanessa, perhaps our favourite local organic food shops Eco Village
Travel to Daylesford Organics if that is on the agenda
Go wild swimming with Vanessa

This is time to connect to what Vanessa is doing, to see the Sourdough School in action, producing the recipes and the films that are used on the Sourdough Club. The week is not ‘taught’ it is a working week, and content will vary from week to week.

There will be small tasks to do, helping prepare food and helping to clear down at the end of each day.

The course is 5 days, Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm. Just 2 students on each course.

Does not include accommodation.
