I appreciate comments however I think you are confused and perhaps need to read the feature again. This was a summary of a study .. and explanation about a particular aspect of digestibility - namely IBS and the discovery that for people suffering from self diagnosed gluten intolerance that the main aggravator was actually FODMAPS. No one is Poo - pooing anything to do with the very debilitating condition of Coeliac which is an auto immune disease and a VERY different medical condition altogether, and frankly one that means NO wheat under any circumstances. As you may know we run the RCGP nutrition and digestibility of bread courses here so it is somewhat concerning to read and realise that  that you have not differentiated the advice, and findings of a study that has been evaluated for a distinctly separate medical conditions.
